Pinnacle Performance began with a belief that fitness should be more than workouts — it should be about purpose, connection, and progress.

Founded by Hugh Slobbe and Lexi Andrews, what started as a small studio on North Street has grown into Timaru’s first luxury health club, redefining the way people experience training, recovery, and community.

Every Pinnacle session is grounded in four physical pillars — strength, cardio, weight loss, and flexibility.With six people per class, you’ll experience the quality of personal training, the motivation of a group, and the results that last.

This is a continuous, evolving client journey designed to build lasting fitness habits through meaningful movement, strong community connection, and joyful experiences.

  1. Discover Purpose: Clients begin by clarifying their personal “why,” aligning their goals and values through robust onboarding, movement screening, and personalized action plans. This stage builds accountability and intention, ensuring clients show up for what truly matters to them.
  2. Move with Intention: Training is purposeful and enjoyable with structured, progressive small-group sessions focused on key fitness pillars—strength, cardio, flexibility, and weight loss. Personalized coaching empowers clients to move confidently and have fun while improving general health and fitness.
  3. Growth Through Community: Connection and belonging are critical to success, with small classes capped at six participants we foster support, recognition, and shared wins. Bi-monthly events and peer engagement keep motivation high and transformation sustainable.

The cycle repeats every 4–6 weeks, refreshing purpose, intention, and community to maintain momentum. Coaches shift roles fluidly—guide, leader, cheerleader—to meet clients’ evolving needs.

Rooted deeply in Pinnacle Performance’s core values of community, accountability, and enjoyment, the cycle drives long-term, purpose-driven movement that feels meaningful and enjoyable every step of the way.

Hugh Slobbe – Head Coach & Co-Founder
Driven by purpose and passion, Hugh combines high-level programming with hands-on coaching to help every member move with intention and confidence.

Lexi Slobbe – Operations Director & Co-Founder
Lexi ensures every experience reflects Pinnacle’s core values — from member onboarding to events and recovery. Her mission: create a space where every person feels supported and seen.
